Great loon shots. Special for me, as my dad did the first in-depth study of loons and their habits in the Boundary Waters Canoe area in northern Minnesota, back, I think, in 1949 and 1950. He did it for his master's thesis at the U of M. Our whole family would go with him on extended canoe trips while he conducted his research. He was a big loon fan all his life, so I appreciate nice loon pictures. Thanks for sharing those. Good job.
I love seeing images of the Loons and yours are good ones. I especially love seeing them with their young riding on their backs.
