Wow Gregory. If that was the waste from one fish, it must have been one very large fish !

It was a good size, Roger, we have great fishing in the area, so glad you enjoyed, greatly appreciate it. Thanks so much

Great "catch". Amazing what they can swallow, though.

They are used to eating fingerlings by the pouch full, Steve, but I am sure he would have found a way to swallow this. So glad you enjoyed, greatly appreciate it, thanks so very much

Very good capture Gregory, to large of a load, I don't think so, I watched a video of a pelican gulping down a full grown seagull, nasty to watch.

Talk about losing his lunch! Poor guy. Great story telling in this photo and also nice to have your narrative.

A fisherman was cleaning his catch down the canal from me, when I lived on Chokoloskee, before Irma, destroyed my home and the Pelicans were lined up for the scraps. This poor guy grabbed something to large to handle and flew directly at me, as he reached my seawall, he lost his prize in my backyard. Two buzzards swooped down and devoured what was left. I felt bad for the Pelican, but it was too large for him to eat anyway. Please enjoy the download

Cool capture and great timing Gregory
