A visit to the Lake Tahoe area.
Great series. It's been years since we've been to the lake. Thanks for bringing us up to date. Beautiful landscape images for sure !!
I heard Lake Tahoe is a beautiful place...these images prove it.

We were nearby so we decided to take a drive and snap a few photo's of the lake. It is still not clear, smoky from the recent fires, that said it is always pretty up there!
Beautiful set and thanks for taking us along.
A beautiful set. A great place to spend a couple of extra hours. Mahalo for sharing.

Lovely, you caught the feeling of the lake. I grew up around the area, Nevada City, and I am now feeling nostalgic.
Did you know that Tahoe was named after a native American boy who killed a monster that lived in the bottom of the lake and grabbed children who were alone near the lake? (Well, one story among many)
Love them, would love to go there sometime!
I wonder if any of you have climbed to the top of the rim surrounding the lake, i.e. I think it was on the California side going up from either Chamber's Lodge or Meek's bay. You arrive to a very steep drop where if you drop a stone you can count up to 16 or more before hearing the rock hit bottom and the scene is amazing--you see all the mountains and valleys as far as the eye can see. Thanks for reminding me of Lake Tahoe.
Our first visit was in June 1962 and I must say it is still as beautiful! Nice images. Thanks for sharing.
