Welcome...Looks like you need to make your photo size a tad larger. Shows up more like a thumbnail than a photo.
Looks like a great shot what I can see of it.....

So lets see what you shot this week.
I don't think it's a best, but I like the way the girl was sitting. I knew it would be a harsh shot, sun in front of her, almost directly over her, you can tell by her short shadow behind her,but I tried anyway. I wish her legs were in better focus, but this is what I ended up with. She never even knew I was there....;0) We just happen to walk by her on the way back to the car.
Girl On Lawn... B&W
renomike, I agree, it's a great image. Did you talk to her "on the way back to the car"? My photographic motto is " Every picture tells a story." Yours does, and you had the opportunity to find the story. Just curious.

Hi Kathi...Thank You...No I didn't, we were coming up behind her, and I poked my wife and said, " Look the way that girls sitting, that would make a great shot." Got a little closer and took the picture, and left. I looked, but I don't remember what she was even doing.... reading a book or eating. I just hated to disturb her.
The original color shot I didn't care for, so I made it B&W, which I thought was a lot better.

This photo would benifit from layering-in a blue sky with fluffy clouds. Possible with PS or other sophisticated PP program.

is today still this week??
This is an ongoing Thread... hopefully people will post what they think is the best photo from the week.... hopefully they will get out and take at least one photo a week. Would prefer no old photos.... just very recent. Might even start a theme of the week ... no contest just some place where we can stimulate the mind and the eye behind the lens.
I like your idea. Since I had surgery this week, I couldn't go out to take photos but took a few photos of things around my house. Just playing with my camera.

I was walking along a footpath at UC Davis and came upon this flower. No idea what it is, but I thought "What a pretty Flower"
I took my time to shoot this flower and had to wait for the wind to die down. Hope you like it :-)
C&C welcome. :-)
