Great photograph Bill, makes you wonder if a "proper" camera is needed now.

Thanks John - I do prefer to use one of my 5 cameras as I find it difficult to frame using the phone screen but if I can get a half decent picture it is amazing what can be achieved for the final image with a bit of pp.

You Brits sure like busy architecture. Kinda like Jackson Pollock in stone.

iPhones are becoming more and more popular. I recently saw someone taking wedding shots with one. Nice photo. This shot makes me homesick for Germany. There are so many beautiful structures all over Europe and the landscapes are unbelievable.

Thanks Mike - I have visited Germany on a number of occasions and the architecture is outstanding - as in many other European countries.

If you're still close to Chester, I suggest going back and shooting their cathedral; it is unique among almost all the cathedrals in the U.K.

(Some modest resemblance with the larger, grander, St. Paul's in London)

I am about 50 miles from Chester - I have taken shots of the Cathedral previously and it is a great piece of architecture - of course, we also have York and Canterbury which are pretty impressive.

They're all impressive; I merely stated that the one in Chester was somewhat unique from the others.

Nice capture. I am impressed with the stone work on this building. You don't see that very much any more.

More proof that it ain't the camera that counts.

That is a beauty.
