This is street photography - my style. My cameras are far from discrete and I am usually uncomfortable snapping pictures of strangers on the street. Fortunately, these folks didn't seem to mind at all. I am in awe of the artists who designed and executed this extensive and detailed historic mural.

Most, if not all, of the buildings in the mural can be seen from the small park directly in front of the mural. Some of the people depicted are real citizens who played a part in the history of Bucyrus. The entire mural is 34 feet high and 130 feet wide. If you download the 9th photo you will be able to read about the significance of the different areas that are included. No. 10 is an overview of the central section.

Thank you! This mural is in Bucyrus, Ohio. Bucyrus is approx. an hour from Columbus. We were visiting I. The area and went to Bucyrus to buy bratwurst.

Thank you, Phil! I thought the little vignettes showed it off better than just the overall shot.

Thank you, Linda. She kept walking in front of the camera so I took advantage when the time was right! I thought the mural was amazing.
