This week I landed a commercial shoot for a eye & nail salon. This shot is of what they call eyebrow braiding. Interesting.
Nice shot, doesn't look like fun.
Not a very glamorous model and the picture is pretty dark. Does it take 4 hands to do that job? Even if it does, I'd fake it for the shot and ask them to only use 2 hands or get the hands entirely out of the shot and just focus on the strings and the eyebrows. The model should have more smooth skin I should think or else you should do some editing to see of you can lighted it up a tad and smooth out the skin a tad.
I like it as is. Says a lot, I think
looks too creepy as is...
They asked me to show candids of what they do. They chose the model who is very dark skinned. The process is somewhat complex. I think it represents them well. Thanks for the feedback.
I think the photo is acceptable, but...
This is a photo for a salon that does nails. Check out the nails doing the work. Not that they must be polished and manicured to the N’th degree, but clean might be nice. Speaking on the part of a potential customer, I would see this photograph and might choose another salon. It does not represent your customer well in my opinion.

Thanks, Dennis! That's a pretty good suggestion...

Thank you. I seldom offer such advice as I once commented about a photo and was severely chastised for my well meaning comment. Thanks for taking my comment in the manner it was offered.
