Welcome! My daughter has a similar condition due to an accident but has chosen not to let it be who she is. She graduated from college this year and seems to always be busy.

So be as active as you can with your photography. Shoot every day, even if it's just your front stoop. Try many different techniques. Sooner or later you'll find what subjects most interest you. There is plenty to keep your mind busy, and I know my daughter does better when hers is occupied.

Welcome! I am also very new to photography and this site has many people who are willing to share their knowledge and offer support.

Thanks to them, I've nearly eliminated the term "thingy" from my list of technical terms! lol
