Trying out my new 60mm Nikor Macro from a different perspective
A thought-provoking composition with the foreground grasses so prominent.
Great shot, a keeper for sure.
Thanks!

So Linda, what thoughts did it provoke with you?

Why, thank you for asking, Keni
My first thought was that I'd like to crop out the foreground so I am closer to the flowers. My next thought was, "What do the grasses add to the photo?" I decided they are sort of like delayed gratification or concealing the surprise gift 'til the perfect moment. We need to take more than a nano-second to discover the flowers, and anytime a photographer can hold a viewer's attention for more than the usual online sharing nano-second, that is a good thing!
On the other hand, I could be full of you-know-what, including far too many "thoughts"
Sweet lens, for sure. Wish you the best with it. About your landscape; it is beautiful to see a modern photo with so clearly defined foreground, middle ground, and background. There is dynamic beauty over ever inch of it. I'd definitely say "Two thumbs up!"
This came out well...very nice.
There are so many layers to this image - the grass, the sunflowers, the plants in behind them, then the hills and mountains and finally the clouds. The sunflowers really grab the viewer just because of their brightness. But there's so much more to this image!
