My wife spotted this little guy and alerted me. I had the 70-200 on the camera and a luckily a flash since the light was low at this time. It stayed just long enough to get off a few shots. The white spots is rain.

A few years ago I had a field camera which was fun for awhile until the card reader stopped working. The image quality was poor in day light and IR at night. Just good enough to identify the animals. I was amazed at the variety of creatures that passed through the yard at night.

When you say, "It stayed just long enough to get off a few shots." are you referring to you getting a few shots with your camera or the skunk getting off a few shots at you? Just wondering.

Great shot, that's one subject requiring a LONG lens.

Pick up the skunk by the tail. They need both hind feet on the ground to spray.

You do right ahead, how long will it take to get rid of the smell on your hands, not for me.
