Does anyone out there have experience with the Panasonic Lumix 100-300mm, f4-5.6 zoom lens? If so, how good is it? Thanks.

I recently acquired the "II" version of this lens. I used it ( a little bit) on a recent trip to Yellowstone (used my FZ1000 more out of convenience) and found it very capable on my Panasonic GX85...even at full 300mm. REsults are still in progress. But so far, so "great". NO complaints.

I concur 100 percent with Bob T. I have used one purchased new last year (v.2? I presume) on my Gx8 and am very happy. Recently on my new GX9 results seem a bit sharper. This is my first impression not a tested conclusion. I appreciate the portability of this 600mm equivalent lens.
