The lens minimum focus distance will be impacted by the Raynox thus to look at the lens's minimum focus distance is irrelevant. Better to look at the spec sheet for the Raynox. I have a Raynox DCR-150 which is a bit less magnification than the 250...Trial & error will get you at the distance needed.
