Just ordered me a Sigma 16mm f/1.4 for my Sony A6300. Anyone have experience with this lens?
Not the Sony mount Sigma, but I have the 16 mm Nikon mount. Great performer, just remember to keep the camera level to the horizon or you get barrel distortion.
I have this lens on a Lumix G9 and it works very well. I got it for interior shots for travel use. Great price. Good luck.
That’s good. Thank you. I have not heard any bad reviews on it. What do you use for a tele?

I also have the Sony APS-C 18-105mm f4,probably the best all-around lens for my A6500, the Sony fullframe 85mm f1.4 G-Master, the Sony fullframe 70-200mm f2.8 G-Master, and the fullframe Sigma Contemporary 150-600mm f5-6.3 lens (used with the Sigma MC-11 adapter). This is great for my A6500 also, as it gives me a handholdable (effective) 225-900mm lens for wildlife and sports.
Also just got the new Sigma Art 70mm f2.8 macro in native E-Mount. I love that for macro as well as a super sharp short-tele portrait lens. I also have two other Sony cameras in addition to my A6500. I have the A7RIII and A7III.

My wife uses this on her a 6300, also the 18-105 f/4, and the Tamron 18-200. The Sigma is an exceptional lens!
How does the tamron compare to the kit sony 55-210 (which I have)? Seems like the 18-200mm would not be worth it to me since I have the kit lens. BTW, that's the lens I used for these geese pics. Did you ever look at the Tamron 16-300mm E mount? That might be a good choice for me.

Very pleased with the 18-200 Tamron. I purchased it because my wife doesn’t want to change lenses, and she needed something wider. I wasn’t aware of a 18-300 Emount though. After getting the 18-200 I sold the 55-210, to me the Tamron is sharper throughout the zoom range, but I wouldn’t have bought the Tamron if she would change lenses. I was never succeesful in teaching her to set the VCR either.
