And this other one goes in a rather different direction. People may remember that praying mantis eyes are pigmented by day, with a pseudopupil that always faces the observer, but the eyes turn black at night to let in more light.
These fit the bill Mark, thanks. I didn't know that about praying mantis so this is yet something else you have taught me. I love the webworm shot.
