We are traveling to Norway in early September. Starting in Bergen, to Tromso to hopefully photograph the Northern Lights, Sogenfjord in a nutshell tour to Oslo.
I am taking my Nikon D3300, Sigma 18-250 Macro HSM and Nikon 35mm 1.8 Lenses. And Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS100.
I would appreciate any advise from those who have experienced such a trip.

Haven't been there, but you mentioned the Northern Lights. You will need your tripod for the Northern Lights. If you do not have a tripod, you will need to rent or buy one. And even though I haven't been there, fall will be in full swing along with cooler temperatures. The lenses and bridge camera seem to be appropriate for such a trip. I have been on a cruise to Alaska at that time of the year and it can get cold especially at night. For the Northern Lights you will need warm clothes for the nighttime shots.

Charlie, We have been there, and you'll love Bergen. Please make it a point to go to Edvard Grieg's home. I know I'm partial to him, for I love classical music. His is always light and so enjoyable. Having said this, his home is on a ffiord that is beautiful. There is a tour of his home, and they even offer a kind-of-a concert in a hall adjacent to his home. And yes, the hall has a glass wall through which you, again, see the ffiord. The town of Bergen is almost a town from the past. It's wonderful. Sorry I can't comment on the Northern Lights, but Bergen is still a wonderful sight.

I went to Norway last October, great trip. Did Tromso, Oslo and a Oslo to Bergen to Oslo tour.. I use canon but just took a 24 - 105 and a 16 -35 lens and was all i needed and a tripod only used on northern lights tour, most companies you can rent one. Northern lights didn't show up till after midnight so plan on spending a long night up. I lucked out and hit a stretch of beautiful weather and got by with short sleeves. did have a mid weight jacket
but never needed it even at night. all are great walking towns.

Hope the Northern Lights are viewable in early September. Iffy proposition - need to have some luck that time of the year.

And - Between Bergen and Oslo, be sure to look into the Flam Railroad trip. Outstanding photo ops. https://www.visitnorway.com/listings/the-fl%C3%A5m-railway/4202/

I second the thoughts expressed by others here. You will enjoy the trip, lots of great photo opportunities. One of my highlights was the chain of shots of the progression of the 'midnight sun'. We took the Hurtigruten ship tour and that got us as far north as Nordkapp (and beyond). You mention the nutshell tour ('Norway in a nutshell tour'). My Harstad ( a little south of Tromso) cousin asked me what the nutshell tour was about. I described it as Oslo to Bergen and return with stops in Myrdal, Flam, Voss and several fjords. She was insulted saying that is not Norway, you have to include the whole country including the north (her backyard). On our one-way nutshell tour we got to Bergen and got on the ship.

There is a 13 day Hurtigruten cruise beyond Thomso on which snow eagles can be seen and photographed at close quarters. Marvellous sight.

I hope your stopping in Olden. My favourite place. Endlessly beautiful. Small town surrounded by beautiful mountains. Your lenses sound about right to me having been to aNorway a number of times. Olden would benefit from your tripod. Do the Flam railway, if you can. Highly recommend. The glacier trip at Olden ends with the most glorious cakes after an exhilarating and scenic hike. Enjoy.
