Home again and culling photos! Went to Wyoming and Colorado trying to escape Utah smokey skies from all the western fires. No luck, smokey skies there too. This is from our first evening out visiting my old fishing haunts on the North Platte River.

Beautiful photo! The austere beauty of Wyoming grows on you the more time you spend there. Isn’t interesting how sometimes destructive tragedies like the California wildfires highlight another perspective and highlights different hues that ordinarily we would not be able to see. Sometimes distance from our personal disasters teaches and enlightens us if we can take the time to stop and capture or reflect on the moment from another perspective.

Good Sunday morning Linda and thanks for your comment. Almost negligible pp...sharpened a tad for the fence posts and bird on a wire...basically a jpeg sooc.

Thank You ewelling for your thoughtful comments. We spend a lot of time in WY finding the peaceful prairies/mountains a delight. Took our kids on a camping vacation there in 1974 and have been back rv camping every year since...often several times for spring and fall visits.

Very nice indeed, Jed. ( I may have caught some of those that went past your spot a few years ago fishing on the South Platte.)

I'm on the east side along the Sandy/Draper border...13th east, 11890 (Noelle Rd.) south. Where are you located?
