Just got Affinity. I like it, but I do not see where I can convert files to jpeg or tiff, if at all.

When ready to export, on top of the page you will see all your choices

Thanks for the info. Do you have to create and account to see the training videos?

We are between homes, so I’m using Affinity on an iPad Pro currently. The videos are available as long as you are connected to the internet. If you mean the tutorials that are included within the program. There are also YouTube videos in case you didn’t know.

I bought the Affinity Editor and intend to use it as my backup in case Adobe ever decides to get greedy on its subscription pricing. I believe I have embedded all my major filters with the exception of ON1. As Affinity can now handle RAW files, lets one edit until their heart's content, apply filters and export as .jpg or .tif, I believe it to be well placed as a backup. I experiment every few months, just to keep my hand in it. The other viable alternative is ON1 Photo RAW 2018.

To save a file in a different format go to the File menu, select Export and set the parameters for the new file in the box that pops up.

Videos - here is the link I use: https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/10119-official-affinity-photo-desktop-video-tutorials-200/

I think the videos are excellent and I find myself going back to re-watch specific ones frequently. You do not need a login to access these.

I have been using Affinity Photo since the first day it was opened to the market. It is my favorite editor.
You need no subscription to see the videos, all of them excellent.

Affinity Photo is a great program and truly on-par with Photoshop. Select "Export" to save your work in different file formats. No registration necessary to watch training videos and their a many splendid ones on YouTube. The power of Photoshop at a fraction of the price and no subscription fee.

You can access Affinity Photo's videos at this link: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCQZN-kIrZUQyoTnexM3jJAw There are more than 200 available and I think they are the same ones you get if you create your account.

Affinity is a great program but it's biggest weakness is lack of an image browser like PS bridge. I recently over came this problem by downloading the excellent XnView Image Viewer. This viewer is free and very powerful. You can program XnView to open you images directly in Affinity by selecting the image and pressing options + 1 on a Mac. https://www.xnview.com/en/

To convert you use File>export. It will give you a list including those you asked about.
