Anyone who has ever used one of these can remember how great the cool water tasted
after working in the Summer sun.

Good cold water as long as you have a little water to prime it.

The pump needs work. They don’t use it for fear that it would break and they like the look. I’ll bet there are many of these in NE.

We have two of them at our farm. One at the house and one at the barn. Both work, give good water and best of all the of the kids that visit here love playing with the pumps and playing with the water.

We had one at the barn. It stayed primes and was the best water ever--great memories.

Tasted best out of the rusty tin can we hung on it for drinking. Didn’t have all the herbicides in the ground like we do now.,

Cool pump! Thanks for starting this. Here's one that probably has a long story to tell.

Aha--a pumpjack attached to eliminate hand pumping. We also used one of those.
