Nice job Frank. Your badger looks so cuddly, but looks are deceiving ! I've always thought it interesting that U of Wisconsin athletes and fans are known as "the Badgers", a name taken from early days when some lead miners would over-winter in cave-like holes in the ground, similar to badger burrows. Some miners would go south for the winter and return in the spring, their return coinciding with the run of suckers in streams. The name of sports fans as "Badgers" would be preferable to "suckers". I am still a Badger fan but also a history fan.
Great find of elusive subject and well done ! ......thanks for sharing
Badgers are, by nature, nasty critters, but this one looks like he/she doesn't have a care in the world. Great catch. Thanks for sharing.

Handsome fellow in beautiful condition. Must be a good year for Badger.
Excellent capture Frank. I like the composition too.
What a fine picture. Does this give a clue as to what happened to the burrowing owls?
Great shot, Frank! I've never seen a badger!
