Anyone know what type of duck this is? Found him at Virginia Lake in Reno today. Someone said a mallard, but I thought Mallards looked like this, they even have different size beaks and neck feathers?

My wife had a Goose almost get in her lap....;0)

Looks like a Mallard to me. He doesn't look to be in very good condition. Poor old thing!

Actually, googled it and came up with a Crested Duck, a mutation of a mallard...

something about this old lady needing help to hold up the mask at a recent party appealed to me.....the other shot was an attempt to show the distance from my back yard fence to the river in front of my home. And finally, what a rope swing looks like in the fall with noone to play on it.

OK its a new WEEK.... lets see what you've been shooting... These was posted on another thread but they are my favorite from this past week....... Harrah's Casino in Tunica, Mississippi at night. The Casino is actually a barge anchored to land.... caught the reflection in the water and another of the neon reflecting in the hotel window....

I love the neon in the hotel window, so colorful. I tend to like really bright colors...or the opposite B/W. What settings did you use for each photo? Thank you, Cheryl

I tried googling the odd duck, but didn't come up with anything close. I wonder how rare that type of mutation is in mallard ducks?

That's just Rock Star Goose, and all his Mallard Groupies...;0)

Actually there are thousands of Canadian Geese in town. Almost any feild or water pond you go by has gesse in them.

Beautiful kitty and I love the eyes too. I have four cats and a kitten, so I always have subjects to photo. Thanks for sharing, Cheryl
