Thanks puglover.

My wife was disappointed when we were there last September. We didn't see any.

I’m surprised you didn’t see any. I have more luck seeing bears in The Tetons then in Yellowstone. We see a lot in Yellowstone but sometimes they are to far away to get a decent shot of them. Thanks for taking a look. Terri

You capture is excellent, and the colors set the mood. I'm impressed.

Thank you Norm! I was lucky with these bears. First time I saw them the lighting was awful but saw them later and they posed great for us. The fall colors were a bonus. Terri

Such cool shots! How close were they?

Thank you AzPicLady! I wasn’t as close as these shots make it look. Mama bear was in another tree watching them and us. I was shooting with 400 lens. I wish I could have gotten them playing together but branches were in the way. Terri

Well done Terri.
I wouldn't have thought the tree would support the weight of the bear.

Thank you Roger! We were surprised also. Terri

These were taken last fall in the Grand Tetons. We were lucky to be able to photograph these two young black bears up in a tree enjoying the berries. The fall colors were beautiful.

These indeed are great shots....Rich

Great shots, they are just the right size to raid trash cans etc. I have a couple around my home and love watching them.

Super set! Amazing how all that meat can sit on a branch and not break it!

Excellent set! Beautiful backgrounds support the theme of bears doing what they should be doing in the fall. Really fine work, thanks for posting.
