These are really stunning. Nice work
Nice landscapes--the one with the grain elevator is excellent.

Spectacular. Sensational. Not enough superlatives. Thanks.
The first is just gorgeous!
The first shot is an absolute killer and definitely frameworthy. I'm thinking of visiting the Palouse and would like to fly in. What is the nearest airport and how many days would you recommend I stay to properly photograph the area and what time of year would be best? Thanks, Bill
Spectacular work! #! should be hung on your wall.
The colors and composition of # one is outstanding
If you plan to stay in Colfax, get your lodging reservations in early. The available rooms seem to fill up about 5 months in advance. I've been only once but my photo buddy has returned and sprung $ for a photo guide. He says it was well worth the added expense. BTW, about 2/3 up the spiral winding road to the summit of Steptoe Butte is a pull off where you will find many photographers and some microwave relay towers. Most photographers were trying to get the golden hour rolling terrain without including the "ugly" towers. I made lemonade by making the towers the subject of some of my photos there. (I also took my fair share of rolling terrain golden hour photos but they were just like so many others, nothing unique about them)

I finally made it back out to Steptoe Butte in eastern Washington. The last time I was there four years ago, it was so foggy we couldn't see ten feet in front of us! This time the weather was perfect and the view absolutely beautiful!! I know these shots have been done a million times, but, it's the first time I got to take them for myself
lovely shots and downloads, cat!
