Isle of Barra, Outer Hebrides.
Dramatic lighting, double "S" curve composition. Wow!
Beautiful job Graham. I like the sharpness , the contrast and the depth.

That is the kind of day on the beach that a photographer would pay money for. You took full advantage of the opportunity. I love the tonality of this black and white photo. Nicely done and a very nice composition to match. I like how the lines in the sky mirror the lines of the shore fading into the distance.
Erich
Ansell Adams would have approve me thinks.

For what its worth, It feels like the heavy dark end encroaches, giving the strong vignetting effect. I pulled back the shadows some, and it feels much less restricted. Also a better feeling for distance and skyline contrast, without affecting either the sky or sand contrast or detail. But that may be contrary to your intensions.
Excellent contrast between the blacks and whites--great subject, great photo.
Lovely lines here and nice contrast. Love those clouds!
I'm usually a big B&W fan, however, this image might look better in color with the saturation cranked a bit to accentuate the sky/cloud combination (which is the majority of the image.)
Someone’s already mentioned AA, which was my first thought. Then 1950’s travel book illustration (think I may historically have said something similar about another of your shots Graham). This is b&w landscape photography at its best, methinks.
