what is this symbol. i was working on a picture and this symbol popped up
i was working on a picture and this symbol popped up. not sure how and dont know how to get rid of it.please see attachment. thank you

What programme are you using? It could be a wierd sort of vertical alignment tool with a 'front to back alignment' showing you had tilted downward rather than straight on. It isn't usual for these to save 'on show' when you 'save as'.
Were you working on someone elses image off the internet? it could be a symbol embedded into their images that 'spoils' unauthorised copies.
Compass. You likely have GPS information in your images.
i was using cc photshop.
with a wacom pad..pencil.
so i guess there's no deleting it before saving my picture?
ps. i was using a picture i own that was scanned and downloaded into photoshop.

Looks like a ninja throwing weapon. Who have you pissed off?
It is a common Compass signal, and as Jerry said the orientation in the photo (Red up) means it's pointing north.
