SOLD ............Bought this new back in June or July of'16 when I bought my 70D, and then started buying zoom lens. This lens has been a closet queen, so time to give it up. Len has both caps and hood plus UV filter( from day one) and a polarized filter also.Think $100 bucks would be fair,O.B.O., which would include shipping CONUS and PayPal fees.. Tooks the attached pictures with it this am.Considered a very sharp lens from what I've read.THANKS for reading this..Paul PM is best

I have that lens for my Canons and it is sharp!
I'm not familiar with "LN" . Is this an STM lens?
NO, LN means Like New, thanks for reading..Paul
Not sure what STM means (not sure I really care) but I can tell you that it fits my Canon 70D, which the pictures on the post were taken
STM is the newest model of most Canon lenses and means Stepping Motor for smooth action. If you look at the Canon EF 40mm f/2.8 Pancake Lens on most sites now they are STM. Surprised yours isn't if you only bought it a couple years ago. The STM came out around 2012.

where would I find DTM stamping on this lens?
sorry, took off lens filters and found STM stamped on the lens, like I said before: it fits nicely on my 70D
Did this whole think start with the LN post?
