Shot a number of years ago in Southern and South Western Saskatchewan. Unfortunately, the elevators, once the sentinels of the prairies, have mostly disappeared.
Nice set, Beautifull area.
I really like that last one.
I really like the starkness of that last image.
Loved that last one...nice shooting.

Nice work, GreyOwl. I enjoyed them all.
Nice ones--I, too, am missing those old elevators--I grew up in a farming community here in Indiana, and they are almost all gone now.
Thank you, Sue. Glad that you liked it.
Thanks for your kind comments, fourg1b2006 .
Cotondog, thank you very much. Really enjoyed that trip through Southern Sask. Beautiful country.
Thank you, jaymatt. Yes, at one time every small town on the prairies had at least one elevator and one just took them for granted. They also made great subjects for photography. Now, when I return for a visit the landscape looks so different. They are like steam locomotives. If you didn't grow up with them, then you can't appreciate the extent of the loss.
Looks very familiar, especially the last one
Very nice set, but the last one really steals the show!
Tazzy. Have you visited the area?
Mike, thank you for the kind comments. Much appreciated!
