Just returned from a trip with Steve Perry to Costa Rica. Had a wonderful time and got many nice shots that I am happy with. Loved the monkeys. Did not get that great sloth shot I wanted, so darn, may have to return at some time! Steve and Rose Perry were wonderful tour guide hosts. All of these shots were processed in Lightroom and some in Photoshop as well. All of the basic edits were done in Lightroom. The flying Toucan is a result of three shots being merged together in Photoshop. The green things on the first monkey are very sticky burrs that are very difficult to get off.

Great collection of images. Lucky you to go with Steve Perry. He is a great photo instructor.
This comment may be inappropriate and will likely be censored.....But I find these images "abso-freakinglutely" amazing. Love Cost Rica. Incredible images. Yup...Steve Perry may be an underestimated resource to us who care about our images.
These are incredible! Beautiful work.
These are wonderful photos. I think I hate you.
Back in the 80s I backpacked through the entire country, most memorably Monte Verde-- no camera!
The howler monkeys came down from the trees to watch me bathe.
The little gold monkey looks like a real cuddler
The frog is a magnificent capture - So is the toucan.
Good job. Put some more up.
How was the coffee?
I love these images . . .up close and personal are the words that come to mind. You can imagine the personality of each of them. Great job!
Very nice set. Well done.

We lived in C.R. for three years and never had seen the monkeys like you did. You were lucky. Your shots are great!
We did see sloths but only on the east coast around Limon.
Great set from Costa Rica. Thanks for sharing those. Well done.
Very cool shots. I like the frog the best. vz

Beautiful shots. When we were there in February it was so rainy it was hard to get a good shot of the monkeys.
