Nice series on both, at our age we deserve to go crazy with the cars. Bob

Thanks, Bob. I appreciate your kind comment, and agree that we deserve to go crazy once in a while.
I just wish I had never sold my '62 Vette...
I have an 86 560 SL that is just like new. Drive it about 250 miles a year top the golf course and back. Have not had the top on it and the convertible top up in this
century.
Sometimes I wonder why I keep it. But all it takes is a trip to my little country golf course and I know why. So, my wife just bought me a another one. Just like it all
the way except the color. The original one is white. The new one is black.
While we live 70 miles west of Fort Worth in the country, we get to spend quite a bit of time at our cabin at 7000 feet in New Mexico.
It will be fun half a "golf car" in both places.
Thanks for the nice photos. Especially like the old Buick. Reminds me of my youth.

Good for you, Trackmag! My wife loves Mercedes SL class cars...
do you think your wife would buy one for me?
That old Buick was one of my favorites for sure!

You had a 62 vette, man are you nuts, or was money tight? Bob

Looking back, yes, I was definitely nuts. I sold it because I
was going to get married, and wanted kids, and I didn't
think the Vette was the "proper" car for a "family" man.
Keep in mind, this was the mid '60s, and even though I
was considered a "preppy," most people considered
Vette owners as "greasers...." LOL
Again, in hind sight, I should have kept the Vette and
never married that...person. LOL
