Great challenge last week Judy and sorry I missed your oil and water today Dane, but we were on the road again traveling home all day. We did drive through some rain that was soaking the macadam pavement, but I failed to think of taking picture of that. Ok now, it is Free Sunday, so bring it on. Anything you want to throw our way is fair game.
We left Estes Park yesterday morning, which always necessitates a drive down Big Thompson Canyon. These were all shot with my Fuji point and shoot through the windshield. No apologies for quality as the record of our experience was my goal, and the Fuji was much easier to handle over the steering wheel, much to Dee's chagrin.

Then heading into Amarillo….”Driving down the road I had a feeling I should have been home Yesterday……Yesterday”. (Played a lot of John Denver on this trip)

Oh my word. I can just hear Dee. Sometime you might want to heed her advice, Mr. Hammer. Have to admit you did get some goodies.
Shot a few this week. One shot 2 edits.

Same spot, just a little further down the fence line.

Stopped for something else, turned around and saw this - looks like an old dug well with cover and crank.

Needed shots of men working for my photography class
Which one is better A or B or Non-of-the-Above
The 105mm 2.8 macro has a narrow DOF

Like 1 lighting over 2, 3 and 4
4 looks like it might be an ancient hand crank Gatling gun.
Very nice shots Pat
Mailboxes at the top of our road.
I was going home when I hit a road block because of a fire about a block from my house! I had to detour so I parked and walked back up to the corner with my camera! Everyone got out ok and no firefighters were hurt putting it out! At least one good thing!

I'm picking #1 Steve. Focus is on the working and not the rotting.
