Unable to update newest version of Lightroom

Hi. For some reasons I'm unable to update to the newest version of LR. I'm using a Macbook Pro. Also Creative Cloud does not give the option for update.

Did you look to see if your operating system is high enough to support the latest version of LR? If so, then it's time to open a chat with Adobe. They've helped me this way and it was pretty quick and easy.

Sometimes you may need to log out of the Adobe Creative Cloud App, then log back in to force an update to make versions available.

In my version of the creative Cloud App, I can also select check for app updates in the tool menu of the app and it will force a check of the servers for new versions.

Adobe staggers it update notifications so not to completely clog their servers.

Just curious, how do you know that they stagger notifications? It certainly makes sense to do that but I've never read anything to support your claim.

Try logging out of CC then logging back into CC.

I think that's because the newest/latest version is a prescribed version only!

When a major update to LR or PS is announced, it sometimes takes a few hours or an entire day for the update to show up in the Creative Cloud app.

I think the Lightroom Queen (Victoria Bampton) has so stated on several occasions.
