The radio guy has the right of free speech. He is being paid to voice his opinion.

The executive is another story. When you are the CEO of a company you are working 24 hours a day and everything you do is representative of the company you work for. I know some of you will disagree, but that is the way it is. If he could so easily berate and innocent employee of Chik-Fi-A why would he not do the same to one of his own employees?

The fool published his rant into the public forum therefore putting his employer on display the same way the Chik-Fil-A exec put his company in the fire zone when he voiced his opinion in the public forum. The difference is that the guy in the video was not answering a question about his beliefs; he was berating an innocent person that had nothing to do with the situation. He should have been fired.

The Chik-Fil-A exec was being interviewed by a Baptist Church radio station and asked about his beliefs. He told them he belived in traditonal marriage. He said nothing hateful in the interview. Most of the U.S. agrees with him. You libs should actually listen to the tape.

Not certain what point you're trying to make, docrob, but clearly no one can know what's in the mind of others. Having said that, gotta say your redundant question kinda sounds like the old "I know you are but what am I?" It's clear to me there's way too much rancor coming from both the right and the left. Oh, and before anyone chooses sides, I detest an abundance of the nonsense being spouted by both sides. Case in point, this discussion. No decent person should be able to agree with the now unemployeed gentleman, yet look at all the right-hemisphere name calling it brings out. We need to all grow up and that totally includes me!

Point I am making is that it's easy to stereotype others, it's easy to lump all liberals or all conservatives into groups and then simply refer to that group as if - key phrase "as if" all people in said groups think the same - are the same......My point is that if you have to relate to me as an individual - and vice versa - than I cannot simply stereotype you and neither can I be stereotyped by you (editorial you).

But that's exactly what we do - what the media does - Stereotype and group......it's easier to dehumanize and if we have learned anything about war and killing is that it's helpful to think of the "enemy" as less than human...........so my point is see me as an individual and I will see you in equal light.....
