'Good Vibrations'

Another composite ... a B&W conversion of a DJ at a local outside bar/pub. I like the original background, but it seemed like the image needed something more. I decided to add an image for the background that was taken 9 years ago at a well known place in Tennessee. I felt the lighting for both, the subject and background blended well. Right or wrong?

Yep, they’re right, it does work well Dave! I like the obvious connection you've used between the subject and the background, the focus on his face and the movement in his limbs, it all comes together to perfection.

It does work. Besides, how can you go wrong with a guy in a Yankee hat?

The blur really grabs hold of you and demands your attention. I would not want to look at it all day long on a wall; but I do like it.

Thanks Dave !!! I thought the connection between the two worked as well. I'm appreciative to your description regarding the focus and movement of his limbs. I wasn't sure how other's would reveal the image, so I thought I would attempt to get some opinions.

Thanks John, I don't have an answer concerning the Yankee hat, but your comments are well appreciated either way.

Erich, the blur does get ones attention and that was the intent. I'm not sure, but I don't think there is a picture on any wall that I would look at all day. Thanks for commenting !!!
