Chopper just needs to be patient and remember when he was a puppy and when this little furbaby gets a few weeks older Madame P. will divide her affection between both of them. Super work and shot Randy, love the effect.

Thank you, Sylvia. I will remind him of that at dinner tonight, lol. He's been grumbling non-stop about being two-timed by his mistress, and it's been all he can do to suck down his string cheese and chicken croquettes.

Glad you liked the image. I thought 'painting' it would soften the feel and strengthen the emotion of the shot, and I think it did.

Thanks for your very kind words and visit, always greatly appreciated!

Thanks, Bob. It would seem you're right--in for a penny, in for a pound. She's in love, what can you do.

I accompanied him to one of the town watering holes last night, and in between jello shots, Chopper said he's become like a pair of comfortable but worn-out old shoes--only taken out to be used in the rain and mud, never for dress. I don't remember much else about the evening, including where we went, what we did, or when we got back to the Ministry. We apparently took a taxi home. First time I've ever driven one, and it's still sitting in the Ministry parking lot.

Thanks for stopping by and your astute comments, always very much appreciated!

No no no....you're not supposed to drive the taxi home, you're supposed to let the taxi driver, drive you home!!....you probably had a great time, if only you could remember!!

I'm sure it was a great night, and I had the hangover to prove it! I'll try to remember about the taxi driver next time...

Madame P has long proclaimed that no one could ever replace Chopper, her Peruvian Piranha Dog, as numero uno in her affections. They've practically been joined at the hip for years.

But let's examine the facts-- Chopper's getting on. His youthful good looks have faded, and we don't see him in her arms as much as we used to, do we? Madame P was even spotted at last Saturday night's big hamster fight without him, claimed he wasn't feeling well. Uh-huh. I saw him at dinner, he looked and acted perfectly fine, ate like a horse. Not feeling well? Hah!

And while a certain little someone is presented with a new toy almost daily, when's the last time poor Chopper had a new collar and leash? Or anything more than a cursory pat on the head? Answer me that!

Not to mention there's a peculiar daydreamy kind of smile on the lady's face with a certain little someone in her lap when she thinks no one is watching. And that same lady flushes and acts all embarrassed when I happen to catch her singing to that certain little someone. I can't remember the last time I heard her singing to Chopper...

No question, there's something going on. But is this just a casual fling, or something more serious?

What a great photo. Even Madame P is powerless over the silly little angel. This could lead to an overall softening of Madame P. Madame P should be very very afraid. Has she considered the crazy cat, could be a spy? Is she under a spell? With trusting cat eyes.......Could spell danger.. Maybe I'm off base here, but.......? Who knows?>

Poor Chopper! I looks like Madam P loves that certain someone a whole lot. The portrait looks like it was done in soft pastels, TP! Beautiful!

Thanks, Marion. I think she's planning on doing up a big batch of her award-winning Baked-Stuffed Children, just so word doesn't get around that she's really a big softy. If the Nanookians ever got wind of this, disaster would undoubtedly follow.

Thanks for the warnings, and we'll have to watch this kitten very closely. But there's so much mischief when he's awake, we're pretty sure he's not a double agent.

Thanks for the laugh and your visit, always very much appreciated!

Thanks, CathyAnn. I did purposely soften this with a little paint, thought it would focus the viewer on the emotion of the shot rather than on the figures per se. Glad you enjoyed the result.

Thanks for your very kind words and visit, they're always much appreciated!

Thanks, Val. I'm sure this is just a temporary aberration on her part. Chopper is the one and only. How many times has she said that? Kittens do need extra attention if they're to turn out to be real Ministry of Mayhem material, and she is no doubt just doing her part to see he gets a good start and will measure up to Ministry standards.

Of course, he IS a cuddly little thing. And he purrs...

Yeah, Chopper may have reason to worry, lol.

Thanks for the fun comments and your visit, always much appreciated!

Thanks, Ron. They are cute for a reason--keeps you from killing them, lol! Into everything, zoom zoom zoom, bite bite bite, spring, pounce, bite bite bite, zoom zoom zoom. He does get very sweet when he's tired, I'll give him that. Terrorizing Eisenheim (at least they play together now), and the bane of Omi's existence (she hates him passionately). But everyone laughs at the antics, and he IS fun to watch.

Glad you enjoyed the 'painting,' and thanks as always for the kind comments and visit, they're very much appreciated!
