It was HOT out yesterday, 110 F at the peak, and this guy just flopped down for a rest.

Olympus OM-D EM-5 Mii, + Lumix 45-200 f4.5-5.6. Retouched in LR CC using my iPadPro.

Roasting Squirrel. My dogs would sure love them falling off the wires as snacks! Yes, it has been horribly hot in So Cal. Friday I think it was 117 in Pomona and 113 in Los Angeles, yet a mere 112 in Death Valley!

That little sucker chewed my internet cable on the pole and caused an outage. I can only HOPE he falls into my neighbors yard with my neighbors Staffirshire Terrier. But while I can hope, I will not do anything to facilitate said accident. I will let nature take it’s natural course.

For example, Mr squirrel sitting there not moving, has forgotten about Mr Red Tailed Hawk. I have see Mr Red Tail nail a moving fruit rat on that very wire. ;)

It was cooler today. Barely got to 100.
