Finally retired and have time for a new hobby or two.
After a combined 41 years enlisted in the military or working with them I finally have time for a hobby. One is definitely photography and the other attending and participating in car shows. They should mix well but I want to develop photography skills in a bit of everything.
America’s sports car
The Shop
That's got to be the cleanest shop I've ever seen! Nice.

In my younger days my wife and I did a lot of that (cars/car shows/photography) Turkey Rod Run at Daytona, Oldtown, sports car stuff when we lived on Long Island, etc. etc. It is a great combination, I still have slides of me working on and rebuilding various cars (and motorcycles), shots at car meets, etc.. us at various venues etc. You will have a great time, just do it!!!!
Not my shop. It was just a pic I took at a miniature car museum and builders shop just outside Maricopa, AZ. The owner is a retired engineer. He and club members use the shop to build and display their cars. All the sheet metal (fenders etc.) is hammered out and shaped by hand. Very cool place and friendly folks.

Welcome. We have quite a few folks in this neck of the woods that feel the same way you do. There are lots of restored cars on the streets and at the car shows on Saturday nights. One guy down the street has a two car garage in his house and a three car garage beside his house and a hydraulic lift beside that.
