Has anybody here used Kastar brand batteries and/or charger? I'm looking at the regular charger with the car port plug. I have a Canon Rebel Xti. But opinions from any user would be great. I couldn't find anything doing a search.
I bought two thru Amazon, along with a twin charger, a few months ago for my Nikon at 60% cost of 1 Nikon battery alone. Exact duplicate of OEM battery even to color but with actually a little higher mAh listed. Too new to tell you life expectancy but they were highly rated reviews and I like they have their own large brick & mortar distribution center here in USA.
Per previous poster's link NO counterfeits were found on Amazon, only eBay which makes sense. However it mentioned Kastar over-states ratings so we will see how many shots they last under heavy use.
I use Kastar for my 6D and 77D. All work fine, last as long as the originals. The people at kastar were first class when I called them. But be careful. The batteries I ordered on eBay showed the Kastarsbut I received a different mfg. I returned them and called Kastar direct to get the batteries I wanted and the charger I wanted. Highly recommend.

Sorry, but I have never heard of that brand!

I got charger and batteries for my Pentax Q-7; I got the charger because it runs off a USB connection, so it gives me more charging options when I'm traveling. Charger and cable tuck into corners of my bag, so they're not in the way. I've only had the system, so I really cannot address longevity, but it all works fine so far.
Okay, I decided to give them a go and ordered them last night. Now, where's my marker so I can number them for rotation when they get here?
