I saw this recently & thought to share with others.
Maybe it's a hint of things to come, when oil runs out. The Arabs are already cognisant of that.
We'll be back to steam engines & horse & cart. This guy should take out patents on it now??

Land rovers were only intended for splashing around the mud & slush of England's farms originally. Look how well it's done since.
My mum & dad travelled much of the Australian continent with one. Dad being a basic pragmatic sort of guy wouldn't hear of up grading into something more comfortable, like Landcruiser or Nissan Patrol, he loved the Landrover.
He built & towed a big caravan on some of these journeys. Not much of Aus they haven't seen, thanks to Landy!!

Bunko T., I have a 58-year-old, 1960 series II 88 petrol. The thought of doing something like this never, and would never, cross my mind. My hat's off to this gentleman for the effort and success, regardless.

Going a bit backwards and dirtier. He should try his hand at converting a regular gasoline engine into burning Methane or Hydrogen. A hydrogen engine would only produce water. I hear Mazda may be planning to produce a Rotory Engine that burns hydrogen as fuel.

This is a good example of why someone invented progress.

This reminds me. When I went over to Germany right after the war, many Germans had fitted a wood burning devise in the trunk of their car, and the engine ran on the wood burning fumes. Of course, if they wanted to go somewhere, they had to load wood into it and then start a fire, and then wait until the fire got good enough to generate the fumes.
