I have a flat screen TV and sometimes take photos off the animal channel. They really come out fine from the screen. Does anyone else ever do this..

Yes. It's a special style of photography called "Recliner Photography"! I have a camera stabilizer. It's one of those rolling food trays from the hospital. I roll it under the chair, and place the camera on a beanbag support laying on the tray.

I've only photographed the old style tube type tv broadcasts. The only ones I took photos of were the lunar landings. Not great images, but allowed me to be a part of the success.

Yes back in the old days. Now I have better way to capture those images without using a camera not that I do that often.

I did it once watching the WWE (wraslin'). I hit pause and shot it. I had to share the flying camel toe clutch the two female wrestlers were doing.

Me too - but just the first one in July 1969, including Super 8 movie of stepping on the moon.

Keni, words fail. I cannot find the appropriate way to express my gratitude other than a mere thanks.

I stepped outside before 6:00 this morning to capture the mist coming off the water in the pond on the property. Because of the mosquitoes close to the water's edge, I used a long telephoto and stood back. Besides the fact that the colour rendition was not right, I still received some 3 or 4 bites; on my face, on my arm. Thus, I returned to the comfort of my den, knowing that I would make some good and strong coffee and look at the current offerings from this 'blog' and put on some after bite. The topic posted was a fair question but the back and forth commentary including good fun humour, reduced my displeasure of the mosquito bites. Thank you all for the serious and not so serious responses.

Ok, I'm outside in my backyard, with my coffee, laughing out loud.....alone. I hope the neighbors aren't watching.

Recliner photography is something I'm looking forward to. Thanks for the morning enjoyment!
