KillroyII: I know nothing about 'Amature Bokeh,' but I do have some experience with an amateur's experience of recognizing that innately you know there's more to taking pictures than accepting 'snap shots.' Everybody has been there in one way or another; apprehending the fact that there might be something more to recording moments in time than the recording of moments in time, and which sometimes signals some unexpected, but dammit, there it is, 'aha' moment. Like birth and death and everything inbetween, every sentient being worth being considered a sentient being encounters....... something. Something that wants something more, something that stirs some aesthetic whatever inside, and seeks a way to make that manifest. For you, now, maybe that's bokeh. Or more accurately, maybe its depth of field. I don't know which. And I don't know that it matters. But what I do know --or think I know-- is that you've turned a corner of sorts. GOOD on you!

Do you even know what bokeh is? The background that is shown is not the type that one should be thinking of bokeh. Not one bit. Besides, bokeh is a bit over rated. It appears best when it is a happy accident even though good bokeh is achieved with experience. Try finding an object that you would like to practice bokeh with. The background should be full of round objects (berries on a bush for example) just to begin with. In addition Google photos with bokeh and you will get a better understanding of what I am talking about.
