Hello guys and gals. I just got a couple of old rangefinders at an auction. I paid $10 each for them One is a Ricohlett II and the other is a Clarus MS 35. I have read a few things on line about them, but would like to know more. If anyone has any info I'd appreciate it.
Thanks
Problem child,
Ricoh made some great rangefinders. I dont know much about Clarus. The only thing to remember about rangefinders is that what you view through the viewfinder IS NOT exactly what the lens transmits to the film. Depending on your distance to your subject, the "offset" that is negligible from the camera body to the lens on the camera can be significant at distances. If they work, enjoy the learning experience that some of us old film guys started on.

the first ting you have to know is that you need film
