while my wife shops, I wander...camera in hand
What a great idea. I always check the labels for country of manufacture to keep entertained
What an eye you have for patterns, colors and abstracts! All are very engaging.
Really nice and highly artistic. A bit of advice though, don't stand by the women's dressing rooms with your camera for they might not understand..!

Nice work...great visual perception!
Very interesting images. I sometimes try the same thing, but I've found if I use my "real" camera (a rather large DSLR) someone comes to me and says photography isn't allowed. Sometimes an interesting conversation ensues, and sometimes they don't care once I explain why I'm photographing with my "real" camera. But on occasion "security" is blockheaded, in which case, depending on my mood, I cooperate or use stealth tactics. Having said that, some of my favorite images have come out of my old iPhone.
I use a Canon G16 and have never had a problem with security or salespeople.
Good point; I never hover anywhere near one!
No one has bothered me with my p340, either. But the 1Ds is a different matter, and the Nikon just doesn't have the quality I want, so it's with me primarily to record what I want to come back for later.
Very interesting subject matter. Shopping is one of my least favorite things to do, except for camera stuff. Don't think I would have thought of this as a photo op. Nicely done.
Nice work Doc. Inspiring. Guess I should get out shopping more often.
