The exposure, composition and texture of the close up arch shot is outstanding. I kept wanting to take another look!

Thank you, sippyjug104. Had a great time in St. Louis. I only wish that I would have had the opportunity to walk through some of the neighborhoods I saw on a bus trip and spend some quality time taking photos.

I like your choice of angles for the shots. It is very sad, however, to see the deteriorated condition of St. Louis near the Arch. My heart goes out to the residents. Still, there are some beautiful sights there if you look around. Washington University is beautiful and a photographic pleasure, especially if you can get inside some of the older buildings.

Thank you ww. Lack of time prevented me from seeing anywhere near as much of St. Louis as I would have liked. Yes, urban decay is, unfortunately, a sad reality in many cities, but there are still some beautiful older buildings near the Arch. I will add that I did get to tour the O'Fallon Brewery and they do have some fine beer!
