I haven't seen it in a very long time, but think of it now and then, even using the phrase, "Who's on first," at the appropriate spot in some hopeless conversations.
Thanks for the link, Jerry!
A classic. Thanks for the laugh. vz

They sound like bureaucrats trying to "testify" before Congress without really answering anything.
I have a recording of it on cassette tape and think it is one of the funniest skits ever made. They were comedians extraordinaire. Current comics can't make many jokes without getting crude or profane.
Always hilarious. I ha a Dr. Yoo for a while--we had a lot of fun with that one, too.
I followed Bud & Lou all of my 79 yrs with great admiration for their humor.
It might interest all to know that the WHO'S ON FIRST routine was first broadcast on the DINAH SHORE radio show in 1939 where they were hired as guests comedians.
As a youngster, I never found the "Who's on first" routine funny. The dim wit Lou as a butt of low level intelligence by the arrogant Bud never got an explanation of the ball players names that he could understand. I found the routine very abusive of the uncomprehending Lou. Not a bit funny, to make a joke about low level intelligence/ comprehension.
The Dice routine was pretty good also.

Yeah, if I had wanted hear what most put out today I could just listen to a bunch of teens trying to prove who is the most grown up and has the worst "potty mouth".
