"Illegal Immigrant" is an oxymoron

If you want to come to America legally, you come here as a legal immigrant - with papers and with the correct protocol at a point of entry. You get a green card and can then find work. IF, after five years, you prove that you are willing to settle here permanently and obey our laws, you can be sworn in as a citizen. If you cross the border into the US without presenting at a point of entry, you are an illegal alien. The term "illegal immigrant" is an oxymoron. And even more ridiculous is the term "undocumented immigrant". How can someone coming into the US to become a legal immigrant not have any documents? How can someone coming into the US illegally be called any kind of "immigrant"?

The terms you mention were carefully chosen by the liberal fascist democrats in the belief that it gives legitimacy to their argument. I read an article about this and it was very interesting, by giving them status above the criminals they are and treating them like citizens with rights, the fascist lib democrats scream outrage and call the conservatives heartless, etc. how many times did you hear the bag lady say “that’s not who we are as a country” in regard to immigration? Illegal is just that, no other terminology is needed by sane people.

Slippery slope. The libs think if they "normalize" certain terms, then Americans will become "used" to those terms and just accept them as the norm.

They "liberal fascist democrats" (as you say... lol) have many words
to describe whatever it is they are trying to sell you ....at the time!
Recently these illegals became "Migrants" ......as if they were temporary
migrant workers.
This "children" thing they have going now is just so pathetic....and is getting old by now(so to speak).
The Democrats taking all the people for morons for too long have just learned their lesson ......there is
no such thing as getting "used to" stupidity as they have been doing for way too long now !(as you point out drainbamage)
