Brent H,

I like the color one in the first two sets and the first one in the "Tea Room".
Love the prim and proper "pinkie" in all of the tea drinker photos!
Excellent everything!
Dave

Wow Dave, you are very observant to notice the pinkie detail! Bravo! Thanks for the "excellent" remark too!

I like the full color version the best. I agree with the poster above about the vignette. I would not have the vignette intrude on their heads and faces. I would remove the vignette entirely before having it intrude on their heads and faces. The photo is cropped too tightly to have a vignette. You might post this also in the Professional and Advanced Portraiture section. Mr. Shapiro and CaptainC , who manage the section, give expert critique.

Thank you CO for the advice and tips. It's great to have other photographer's ideas.

Both are terrific, Brent, but the edge goes to the partial color photo.

Thank you rmm0605. My wife also agrees with you so that is important! lol

I like them both. That said, since you seem to be going for the aged look, I believe the first one better represents the attempt. Good job on both.

Thanks a ton jaymatt. I appreciate your time to share your thoughts.

Which version do you like best?

Hi Brent, I prefer the full color myself, unfortunately you seem to have used an extreme
wide angle lens that deformed and flattened the girl on the right's head, I hope her Fiancé still
Marries her after seeing this picture though.....

Absolutely the full color. The finess and fragility of these colors give these photos a very unique touch. Please don't wipe it off.

Your usual good work, Brent! I am drawn to the color because it shows warmth.

I love both, my only criticism is that they are cropped a little to tight. Give them a little more room. 👍👍

Personally I find the full color version more memorable.
Great portraits!
