Could be a tithonia, cosmos is a good thought also... without leaves, harder to besure.

Not Tithonia though. Pretty sure it is Cosmos (which one though?)
Here is Tithonia (Mexican Sunflower) I had last year.

Couldn't remember if tithonia had overlapping petals or not. Thanks, then I also think cosmos
