Shot on vacation several years ago of the Grand Canyon. I think at the time it was a Cannon Rebel with kit lens. Let's see what your Post processing software can do.
Please feel free to download this photo and edit it any way you want. Composites, color shift, conversion to black and white. It is all good. Then post your edit in this thread. On Thursday July 5 at 9pm we will stop taking edits and go to the voting. Thank you all for your participation.

Thanks, Jim for posting this so quickly. I figured I'd try to dehaze and add some depth. I know that the red rocks are really nice; but I thought it would work as a black and white conversion as well.

I am new to this. How do I post my edit photo to this thread?

Sort of did my "normal" LR processing - a bit of clarity, vibrance, contrast, etc. I wanted to apply the lens profile correction, but not knowing the lens I used the distortion slider instead. (This computer has an old LR program only.)
Here is my attempt. This is my usual flow -- some work with luminosity masks, dodging and burning, very slight saturation of selected colors, and, finally, some subtle color toning. I liked the original crop, with the people, so I chose not to crop, at all.

Nice shot of the G.C. - I have been there years ago. I found it a difficult to find a "subject", and I was overwhelmed with everything there. - However - That was in 1972... I should return to try again, as I have learned so much more about what I am doing = Both with Chemical as well as Digital photography.
Here is my edit of your DNG.

I've never been there, but if it looked like this I wouldn't be disappointed.

I hope this will fit in somewhere. More overall prominence of color and detail attempted.
Removed the lady and the garbage container.
It seems some are happier with a title or description so this is to be known as Love is like a Rock.
I thought I would try something a little different. For better or worse.
