Went out shooting today with the intention of capturing some of the many "lattice type construction" covered bridges in Vermont. Between raindrops, I was able to capture a few. With over 100 such structures, Vermont has more covered bridges per square mile than any other state. I hope you enjoy.
Fuller Covered Bridge: Built by the Jewett Brothers in 1890 in Montgomery, VT and restored in 2000, it crosses the Black Falls Brook.
Montgomery Road Bridge: Built by an unknown builder in 1887 in Waterville, VT, it crosses the North Branch of the Lamoille River, and has never been fully restored.
Comstock Covered Bridge: Also built by the Jewett Brothers in 1883 in Montgomery, VT and restored in 2003, it crosses the Trout River.
Longley Covered Bridge: This too was built by the Jewett Brothers in Montgomery, VT in 1863 and restored in 1992, it crosses the Trout River.

Thanks Longshadow! I appreciate the thumbs up!
OK, now I have caught the bug and just looked-up "covered bridges" in Pennsylvania....Geez, there are more than a dozen, who knew? Next week I'll try my hand at capturing a few.

Be careful blackhorse... this is addictive :). Pretty soon you'll be photographing them in different seasons and various weather conditions! And PA is a tad bigger than VT when roaming from bridge to bridge! I am glad you enjoyed them!
