Help - recover deleted CF files

By mistake, I deleted the pics on my CF card before uploading them to my computer. There seem to be a lot of programs to recover the files. Can you give me any recommendation on a windows-based program to recover my Norway pics?

Check the CF manufacturer's web site. They often have software to do a recovery. Try Googling CF file recovery as well.

Recuva, Free, effective and low footprint when used (if on a PC machine). For a mac, no idea. Next time, let us know the system (OS) that you are using...
Do note that if you have used the card since the initial deletion of files, some of the images will be lost regardless of program used.

San-Disk and Kingston both have excellent software for this. I'm sure other manufacturers do as well.
Don't do anything with the SD until you have the software installed and running. This will increase the odds of recovering all files on it.

Thanks for the replies. The cf is a SanDisk, so i’ll go to their website and download the recovery program. Thanks very much for the quick replies.

Have used 'Recuva' to good effect. Very appealing since it is available at no cost from the same source as the excellent 'Ccleaner.' Do not use the card until the images are recovered as overwriting any of them makes them irretrievable.
