Was it damaged? To need all that repair?
After getting all those things repaired & replaced, it should be in excellent condition. Why did the camera need such a major overhaul?

No damage. The shutter stopped working while I was on a trip to Southeast Aisa. I sent it into Nikon for an estimate and the response was a repaired camera with all the mentioned items. "Good Will Repair Rubber Grips" included.

Yes, the camera is in excellent condition. No scratches, marks or wear points.
So, if I may ask, why are you selling it? Hopefully, you are upgrading!!!!!! My D700 has done well for me, but the shutter count is high & I am starting to have a few issues with the camera. And, besides I want to upgrade!

While the camera was being repaired I decided to purchase a 2nd D750 and keep this camera as a backup. Love the camera! Anyway plans have changed and I am not getting the use to justify 2 cameras.
Did Nikon reset the shutter count when they replaced the shutter? What is the status of the warranty? Thanks! BTW, I'm near Wake Forest... not far from you. 👍🤓👍
It doesn't speak well for the D750; all those repairs at the young age of 27,000+ clicks? Good to know as a subject for a review. Thank you, but no thank you.

Nikon does not reset the counter after shutter replacement. There is lots of discussion about this if you do an internet search. As for the warranty, I registered it for the 1 year when it was new. That since long ran out.
Wake Forest, maybe we can work something out.

Obviously there are a lot of people on here that know nothing about the shutter recall advisory from Nikon about faulty shutters in numerous high end cameras lately. The shutter replacement is free due to the recall and all the other items being replaced are complements of Nikon, free. I do not understand why this camera is being sold so cheap. I have one myself and would not consider anything less than $1500.00.

I set the price at what I thought would be a fair price. One can get a body with a battery pack and a warranty for about $1500 (adorama, best buy). I would love to get $1500, but I am also realistic.
The D750 is a great camera. I have two of them and they both were recalled for the shutter repair even though I never had an issue with either one. Nikon did the shutter replacement on both and all the other refurbishments mentioned here, including new rubber covering for each which still looked new and charged me nothing. Shutter count was not changed. This is a good price.
